Leasa Industries is a family-owned sprout and specialty produce company founded by Livingston (L.) and Einez Yap in Miami in 1977. The founders purchased a bankrupt sprouts company and built it into a thriving business; the name Leasa combines the family's initials. After Einez's passing in 2005, their son Andrew Yap now leads the company. Leasa produces bean sprouts, broccoli sprouts, fried noodles, living alfalfa sprouts, pearl onions, shallots, soup mixes, stir fry mixes, wheat grass and wonton snack chips, supplying retailers and foodservice.
