Moody Dunbar, Inc., established in 1933 by Thomas Moody Dunbar, is America's largest packer of bell peppers, roasted peppers, pimientos, green chiles and sweet potatoes. The family-owned company began with selling pepper seeds before expanding into canning pimientos and opening a second plant in Saticoy, California in 1967. Today the second and third generations of the Dunbar family run the business, supplying foodservice distributors, restaurant operators and food manufacturers with high-quality canned peppers and sweet potatoes.
