Waymouth Farms, the parent of Good Sense Snacks and Salad Pizazz, began in 1976 when Brian and Shelley Knight started roasting nuts in their garage to sell natural snacks. The family-owned business, now called Good Sense Foods, produces roasted nuts, seeds, trail mixes and salad toppings with a focus on simple, natural ingredients. Their Good Sense line includes organic pumpkin seeds, sunflower kernels, toasted sunflower kernels and trail mixes. They also offer Salad Pizazz salad toppings and private-label products. The company operates out of New Hope, Minnesota, where it roasts, packs and distributes snacks nationwide.
