Wells Enterprises is one of the largest ice cream manufacturers in the United States and the maker of the iconic Blue Bunny, Bomb Pop and Halo Top brands. Founded in 1913 as a milk delivery business in Le Mars, Iowa, the company has grown into a national frozen dessert leader operating a massive production facility known as the Ice Cream Capital of the World. Wells develops and produces a wide range of novelty bars, cones, sandwiches and packaged ice cream for retail and foodservice markets. In 2022 the company was acquired by the Ferrero Group. Wells emphasises innovation, high-quality ingredients and community engagement and remains a major employer in Le Mars.
