Wild West Seasonings (Schwartz Sausage Company Inc.) is a family-owned manufacturer of jerky seasonings and sausage-making supplies based near Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since launching in 1995, founders Rod and Jan Schwartz have developed award-winning jerky cure and seasoning blends, winning “Grand Champion Beef Jerky” at Western Canadian Agribition in 1997 and 2000. The company sells jerky spice mixes, sausage-making kits, jerky shooters and water-operated stuffers, and a powdered tomato-clam cocktail mix called Caesar Pleaser. Wild West also offers custom packaging services, allowing food processors to package products in short or long runs.
